The Institute of Rural Development of the County of Jämtland (JiLU), theme Forest, Bispgården is a development of the Northern Forest Institute in Bispgården. There, forest courses have been conducted since 1897. At JiLU, Theme Forest research training and development projects are conducted in cooperation with forest owners' movement, LRF and the applied forestry. JiLU Theme Woodland also arranges longer and shorter training courses, seminars and excursions connected to the ongoing projects for forestry.
