Sustainable energy in the Nordic countries is the theme for the Nordic Energy Perspectives (NEP), which will be held on 27 April, the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. Swedish Energy Agency Directorate General Tomas Kåberger initiates the conference and among the other speakers are Energy minister, Maud Olofsson.

The conference is closing a 4-year research project between scientists, politicians and officials from the energy sector in both public and private activities. The overall aim has been to find energy-smart practices for a stronger, sustainable growth and development in the Nordic countries. NEP has, inter alia, analyzing the impact of increased energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy solutions with low CO2 emissions both from a Nordic and a global perspective
