| Notes | On 24th and 25th of January 2011 the German and international biofuel sector already will come together for the 8th international conference “Fuels of the Future 2011”. To this main event within the biofuel sector there are expected, beneath nameable speakers, decision makers in politics and economy and leading journalists, more than 600 participants form all over the world. For the first time the conference takes place within the trade fair “International Green Week Berlin”and the embedded nature.tec – exhibition. |

The conference in 2011, which is organised by the German BioEnergy Association (BBE) and the Union zur Förderung von Öl- und Proteinpflanzen (UFOP), is characterised by major modifications and an enlargement of the conference program. All scientific, economic, political and ecological aspects of the growing worldwide biofuel sector will be presented by top-class speakers during both conference days.
Key aspects during the conference are: analysis of the current market development, presentation of updated research and development results in the particular biofuel segments as well as political and economic recommended procedures out of it. Focal points also will be the development of prices, flows of trade, experiences with the new sustainability certification on national and EU level. E-mobility and activities for the market launch of HVO and BtL biofuels will be discussed on the second day.
The traditional get-together on 24th of January 2011 connects the conference and exhibition “Fuels of the Future” and the exhibition “nature.tec – exhibition for renewable resources”. In hall 4.2 of the fairground Berlin participants, exhibitors and speakers of the conference will meet exhibitors of the nature.tec-exhibition and representatives of politics, economy and science for an exclusive evening reception.
