The discussion will address the following topics covered in the Renewable Energy Strategy:
- how to successfully integrate an increasing share of renewable energy in the electricity market until and beyond the 2020; participants to this discussion panel will include European transmission system operators, electricity producers, renewable energy industry and European energy regulator;
- opportunities and challenges arising from regional and international cooperation in the renewable energy field and the role of the European renewable energy industry in the global renewable energy markets.
- the tools and means for ensuring continued sustainability of the European renewable energy policy, with particular focus on bioenergy.
