The summary report from Task 4.4, Business and industry analysis can now be downloaded from the website. The main purpose of the business and industry analysis was to evaluate overall situation in the different bioenergy sectors in the regions and by the partners involved in Task 4.4. Such evaluation include collection and analysis of data and information about biomass resources in different branches of economy and main actors in the BE sector – biomass or biofuels producers and consumers, and organizations providing supporting services.
The first international Bioenergy in the Renewable Energy Action Plans - Policy Dialogue in Baltic Sea Region conference was held in Helsinki, Finland on 26th - 27th of November 2009. The conference was part of the Baltic Sea Region Bioenergy Promotion project.
Tapio and Finnish Forest Research Institute organized the seminar Sustainable use of forest bioenergy - possibilities and boundaries in Helsinki on 24th of November 2009.
The Bioenergy promotion newsletter has been now released. The first newsletter concentrates on introducing the project and few of its partners: lead partner Swedish Energy Agency, WP 5 leader IMP-BKEE and project partner the Energy Farm as a best practices case. The registrations for the Renewable Energy Action Plans in the Baltic Sea Region - Status and Development conference on 26th - 27th of November and the Bioenergy promotion WP 3 meeting are now open.
The international Renewable Energy Action Plans in the Baltic Sea Region - Status and Development conference is held in Helsinki, Finland on 26th - 27th of November 2009. The conference is part of the Baltic Sea Region Bioenergy Promotion project and it will concentrate on the Renewable Energy directive and the national Renewable Energy Action Plans.
The report includes a description of regions and network points established as a part of WP4, written by the contact persons in each region. The report also includes thorough descriptions of the tasks in WP4, written by the task leaders.
