After one year of solid work on the Bioenergy Promotion project, Sonja Ewerstein is able to sum up the achivements so far. One significant achievement is that the Bioenergy Promotion project has been selected as a flagship project in the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, and that can be seen as a stamp of approval for the overall progress of the project. The Meeting took place in Berlin at the 3th of July. Participating in the meeting was representatives from the Steering Committee members: Swedish Energy Agency, Motiva Oy, the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute, Nordic Energy Research as well as representants from Roskilde University and Spektrum.
