Newsletter

The Bioenergy Promotion newsletters are distributed four times a year and responsible for this task is Motiva, Finland. Below you can find previous newsletters. The newsletter is published in order to strengthen internal and external communication in the BSR Bioenergy promotion -project and to inform actors in the bioenergy field. If you want to know what is happening and be up-to-date in the project, sign up for the newsletter!

In up-coming newsletters you will find more articles and presentations such as introduction of different project partners and work package leaders, information about the conferences and seminars, news on publications, and also new ideas in the form of best practices cases.

The newsletter is published quarterly and the next one is out in Summer 2012.

Newsletter 2/12 out 24th of January 2012
The last newsletter of the Bioenergy Promotion will give an insight to Bioenergy Promotion 2, the extension stage of the project. In addition, news from the lasts events of the project are available.

Read about Impressions of the third Bioenergy Promotion Conference held in Rostock, Germany in November 2011. The last regional policy showcase  Mecklenburgische Seenplatte in Germany is presented as well as highlights from Baltic Biogas Forum 2011 in Gdańsk, Poland.

Newsletter 4/11 out 21st of October 2011

Read stories about the major shift in German energy supply, comments from the Swedish State Secretary Mr. Daniel Johansson on the strong tailwind of bioenergy in Sweden and about regional policy shoe case in the Eno region, Finland. In addition, current news about project events and publications.

In the newsletter 3/2011 you can read about regional policy show case in the Kaunas region in Lithuania, highlights from Policy work package and in addition, invitations to different project seminars are announced.

 

Newsletter 2/11 out 29th of April 2011

The newsletter 2/2011 includes new project results with case studies and questionnaires among others and read about “Biomass-Waste-Energy 2001” -seminar. Remember also to register for the Green Event 2011, which is held in Potsdam Germany 15th – 17th of June.

 

Newsletter 1/11 out 22nd of February 2011

First newsletter for the year 2011 includes one of the regional policy showcases (good practices) which was elaborated in task 3.4 Good practice policy showcases, introduction to three booklets published under WP 2: Management of naturally afforested farmland, Results of trials of mechanized forest planting technologies in Latvia and Guidebook on short rotation willow plantations. In addition, check the latest news and up-coming events.

Newletter 4/10 out 28th of October 2010

This newletter concentrates on the challenges and opportunites with the governmental program for agricultural biogas production development in Poland. Also latest news about the 2nd Bioenergy Promotion conference that will be held in Kaunas.   


Newsletter 3/10 out 6th of July 2010

The third newsletter 2010 includes results from the Bioenergy Promotion WP 5 meeting held in Gdansk in May 2010, news from the European Commissions published biomass sustainability report and information about new project publications.

 

Newsletter 2/10 out 30th of April 2010

The latest newsletter concentrates on current topical issues going around bioenergy and policy issues.  The Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs and the CEO of Stora Enso Jouko Karvinen gave their views on bioenergy and needed actions in the Baltic Sea Region. Also latest news can be found from the Work Package 4 and workshop held in Berlin. Remember also to check the up-coming events!

 

Newsletter 1/10 out 31st of January 2010

The second newsletter concentrates on project outcomes and events during the first year. It includes an interview of the Finnish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry,  news form the COP15 conference in Copenhagen, results from the seminar organized by Forestry Development Centre Tapio in November 2009 news from the WP 3. In addition, you can find news on up-coming events.

Newsletter 1/09 out 30th of October 2009

The first newsletter concentrates on introducing the project and few of its partners: lead partner Swedish Energy Agency, WP 5 leader IMP-BKEE and project partner the Energy Farm as a best practices case. In addition, from the news section you can find news on up-coming events.
