Welcome to the website for the Bioenergy Promotion. This is a new website that will promote the sustainable use of bioenergy in the Baltic Sea Region, and facilitate networking in the sector through an interactive register of people, organisations and projects. The website is part of the Bioenergy Promotion Project, partly founded by the European Union.

The search for effective methods of producing alternative fuels constitutes an important aspect of local energy development. Biogas produced from different waste and organic substrates from agriculture is one of the best sources of alternative fuel.
